Lary Aaron, Son of Hank Aaron, Announced as Special Guest at The Legacy League April 3rd Colombean Coffee Hot Stove Event

The Legacy League office announces today that Lary Aaron, the Son of the Legendary Henry “Hank” Aaron, will be making a special guest appearance at the April 3rd Colombean Coffee Hot Stove event taking place at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame to show his support for the inaugural season of the Legacy League, a developmental baseball league in Jackson, Mississippi.

Raised in a family deeply rooted in baseball history, Lary Aaron followed in the footsteps of his father, Hall of Famer and Braves Legend, Hank Aaron. He developed his love for the game in Tallahassee, Florida, at Florida A&M University, where he played outfield. In 1981, Lary was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 32nd round of the MLB Draft and played in the Braves’ minor league system for 2 seasons. After his stint in the Braves Minor League organization, Lary found a new path in the game through scouting. He joined the Milwaukee Brewers’ professional scouting staff in 1994 and served for nearly two decades, becoming a respected talent evaluator at every level of the game. Lary has dedicated himself to mentoring athletes through various programs and initiatives and continues to honor his father’s enduring legacy by inspiring the next generation to pursue excellence, integrity, and a deep love for the sport.

The Colombean Coffee Hot Stove event taking place on April 3rd will feature the newest Atlanta Braves player inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame, Andruw Jones, along with other guests to include Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons Brian Jordan, Atlanta Braves World Series winner Marquis Grissom, and former Braves pitcher Jair Jurrjens. The Hot Stove will begin at 2:00 pm at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and is a free event where fans can take part in a one-hour interview, Q&A, and autograph sessions with the players.

This is a free event sponsored by Colombean Coffee.
